 Books always have a special place in my heart I grew up reading books, encyclopedias, story books, short novels, etc., as my mom was once a book seller when me and my siblings were young, even as young as when I still couldn't hold my head up! This did not only teach us that books are material things that can be sold and bought, because our mom sells them, but it can help us understand the world better. What do I mean by this? Like I mentioned, I grew up surrounded by different types of printed materials like books, because of my mom’s work, it is quite inevitable.   Hi! Near Here! Have you been to a circus?  I have been to local ones and I've always wanted to see more. I can't exactly remember how old I was when I first saw acrobats and contortionists, but I know it was quite some time now. I was really glad when I knew that there is going to be a circus show happening in Davao just right before the Kadayawan celebrations. I was glad because I will be once again be able to celebrate my inner child as I've always wanted to be a contortionist but I never got to be one, so I love seeing them in television and in videos, and having this circus perform in my city means I get to see contortionists in real life once again.
