The BBW started as a small bookshop in Malaysia founded by Andrew Yap and Jacqueline Ng. It envisions the desire to spread literacy through cultivating reading habits and increase English language proficiency worldwide. With this, they aim to build a generation where readers can have their hands to their reading materials at an affordable price.

With their global reading initiative, BBW introduces their book sales through traveling from one place to another, providing a wide selection of reading materials of different genres. BBW encourages people to discover the joys of reading, to inspire them to pursue their dreams, and, importantly, empower them with the knowledge to make them happen.
