My Milkshake Brings All the Boys to the Yard, and Maybe Girls Too!

 This is yet another perfume-related post.

So I've been seeing a lot of posts talking about Fresh Scentlab's Cinnamoroll Milk and Marshmallow Fragrance Mist, I wanted to get my hand on it because I like to chase clout, JK. Kidding aside, I got really curious why it is crazed over not just by girls but also grown-up males - plus, it's always out-of-stock in Watsons (where it is exclusively sold at). So I tried looking for it in several Watsons branches but to my dismay, I really can't find one, until a friend told me to look for it online. So, I decided to buy it on Watson's Shopee store.

When I received the package, I immediately did a test spray and oh boy, I DID NOT LIKE IT. It smells overly gourmand for me like I can almost taste it, and I'm not much into gourmand perfumes and colognes. So I just set it aside and not use it until I decided to bring it home to give to my mom because as I said in a previous post, I give my mom the perfumes I do not like (peace, Ma). But my dumbass forgot to take it out of the car - and I keep forgetting to take it out of my car for days, until around two weeks in. Then one day, I was with a grown-up man, I told him about how grown-up males get crazy over this item. So he also got curious and tried it on, and we had the same reaction. IT WAS TOO SWEET as if it was being forced down our nostrils! However, when it dried down, the scent has become more palpable yet tolerable, and when it lasted a bit longer, the scent became likeable.

Because I got to smell it on three periods - first spray, die-down, and the fading, I was able to appreciate the notes that came with it. An irresistible fluffy scent of marshmallows, whipped milkshake and delight. One spritz and you're now in nostalgic fields of being held as a baby and your childhood dreams like it was in a 90's family-oriented show or just in a temperance bar that never sold alcohol.

It's opening note is a velvet marshmallow puff, like a smore without the chocolates and biscuits, a gooey treat when you go on a campfire. Then comes the middle note that is a freshly blended milkshake, a vanilla scent that is smooth, dreamy and decadent that makes you feel like being hugged from the inside. As it dries down, the silent undertones of powdered sugar that doesn't make it a full-blown sugar bomb. Just the right amount to make you huggable and not despicable, and makes people ask what stuff do you have on.

Overall, this perfume is a whimsical, gourmand that is perfect for those sweet-tooth people - both cutesy girls, strong women, and grown-up dudes. The daydreamers who still find happiness in nostalgia but hates tooth-decay. Or just when you want people to think you are a sweet person despite being not.

Well, if you reach up to this point, it will either make you curious of this concoction or make you despise it. But how will we know if we don't try, right? Maybe it's time to step out your door and get a whiff of this cologne yourself.
