SOUND OF WATERS Unexpectedly one of the places I would like sitting around and just seek silence in. I was looking forward to this place because of the photos I saw online. The circular platforms over water, huge Koi fishes (huge as in some are bigger than me), the surrounding gardens, and the sound of flowing water, it was a multi-sensory experience I would like to go back to if given the chance. #NearHereTravelLog Bali - Pt.1 LEMPUYANG TEMPLE One of the Six Sanctuaries of the World, the Lempuyang Temple is one of the most sacred temples in Bali, believed to be built before the majority of other sacred temples in the region. Facing the majestic Mount Agung, the Pura Luhur Lempuyang is famously called The Gates of Heaven and easily bacame one of the most iconic places to visit in Bali. A PLACE OF SOLACE One of the places I wanted to go first when i booked this trip. This hundreds of years old structure is a place where the sacred and profane coexists, you will notice this by non-Balinese and non-Hindu people are not allowed in certain areas and heights on the steps in the temple.  This is a way of embracing the sanctity of their beliefs and opening themselves to the mundane by acceptinf visitors (in specific areas).
