MANILA, PHILIPPINES (August 1, 2025) – Gather your teams because Red Bull Half Court is making its return to the Philippines for another electrifying season. This high-energy 3-on-3 streetball tournament offers a major opportunity for local basketball talent to shine—and to earn a shot at representing the country in the Red Bull Half Court World Final, happening this November in the UAE.

The Ultimate Streetball Tournament is Back in the Philippines!

Red Bull Half Court is known for bringing the most fast-paced 3-on-3 streetball action to countries worldwide. This year, in collaboration with FILA and Spalding, the competition spans five continents and over 20 nations, with newcomers like South Africa, Norway, and Kosovo joining the mix.

Legendary NBA shooting coach Chris ‘Lethal Shooter’ Matthews shared his excitement for this year’s tournament, saying, “Year after year, Red Bull Half court continues to push the game forward. Seeing the sport grow in new countries and watching these athletes bring their best is truly special. I can’t wait to see who makes it to the World Final in the UAE.”

Unlike traditional full-court games, Red Bull Half Court uses only half the court and features 3-player teams. Games are played under FIBA rules, lasting 10 minutes or ending when a team hits 21 points. The winner is the team with the highest score at the buzzer or the first to reach 21.

Adding to the excitement is the “Own the Court” bonus—a special incentive awarded to the team that scores the most points across all games, giving them an edge to move forward. The format also includes two special 3-point zones behind the arc for high-risk, high-reward shots.

This season, Red Bull Half Court turns up the heat in the Philippines with a new two-day qualifier format, in partnership with 7-Eleven. Regional qualifiers will be held in:

  • Davao: August 30–31

  • Cebu: September 13–14

  • Manila: September 27–28

Day 1 will feature elimination rounds, while Day 2 will determine the regional champions. Winning teams will move on to the National Final in Manila on October 18, where they’ll compete—along with select wildcard entries—for the chance to represent the Philippines on the world stage.
