DAVAO CITY, Philippines, July 28, 2026—After serving Dabawenyos for nearly three decades, Gaisano Market (GMarket) is taking its trusted grocery experience online. Through its partnership with foodpanda Shops, the homegrown supermarket now offers customers a more convenient way to shop for groceries and everyday household essentials without leaving home.

The launch marks GMarket's first entry into app-based grocery delivery, combining the retailer's long-standing presence in Davao with foodpanda's technology and delivery network. As online grocery shopping becomes part of more Filipinos' everyday routines, the collaboration offers Davaoeños another convenient way to shop.

What began as a routine pickup quickly turned into a heartfelt surprise when Ranera discovered that the grocery order was a gift from foodpanda and GMarket—a token of appreciation for the dedicated riders who help deliver everyday essentials to homes across Davao.

The addition of GMarket continues foodpanda's efforts to grow its grocery marketplace by bringing more established local retailers onto the platform. Customers across Davao can now browse and order GMarket's groceries and household essentials through foodpanda Shops, with launch promotions available on the app.
