Random Yaps and Revisits - pt. 2: How to Think Like a Street

Image
Random Yaps that might have used my braincell or two. O r might have been a part of some stuff I wrote when I was younger. Part 2.  A Cake Being Damaged by Fork             Pictures are powerful tools to show the things we don’t see everyday. In Visual Anthropology, we use photography to document and picture out moving and nonmoving objects that we usually take for granted. Imagine getting a cake for your birthday, divide them into pieces that would fit everyone that wants to enjoy it. Now, look at every division and corner of each slice, is it as  pretty as it looks when it was still a single piece of cake? Does it look like it's going to break into pieces? It does not look as pretty as it was when your first saw it. Can we do this at other things? Those we see and use everyday, the ones we don’t really give much details to everytime we make use of.             Le...

Random Yaps and Revisits - pt. 1: What Room is This?

Random Yaps that might have used my braincell or two. O r might have been a part of some stuff I wrote when I was younger. ------ Part 1. What Room is This? https://i.pinimg.com/736x/62/df/ed/62dfed9c4df6bbcbd5e4cb6cc35cbdb6.jpg I was writing here about my five senses and using them to describe something. Can you guess what room I was in? Let's start. ------- I went inside a room and stayed there for an hour, tried to observe in the first few minutes and decided to sit at the center and let my body talk for me. What kind of room is this? Where is this? You will find out soon. Nose:             As I got inside this room, I noticed the difference in the smell from the outside and inside of this room. Outside smells free, the smell of food, air and smoke. Inside, a strong smell of perfume air freshener lingers around as if it surrounding me, the smell of soft linen is also present, as I go in the interior of the room, I start to sm...

Our idols’ inspirations: PLDT’s Dy, Reyes, Alcantara reveal their biggest supporters

Image
Meet the special people who were there for PLDT High Speed Hitters Kianna Dy, Mika Reyes, and Angge Alcantara since the very beginning. The elite athletes of the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) may be some of the best to ever step on the court, but that doesn’t mean they didn’t need help to stay at the top of their game. Sports, especially at the major-league level, is a tough pursuit with all of its treacherous lows that come with the exciting highs. An athlete doesn’t get to and stay in the pros without the support of some important people in their life. The stars of PLDT High Speed Hitters know this all too well, which is why they’re not shy to appreciate the people that they leaned on throughout the years. This is much more so as they battle it out at the ongoing PVL All-Filipino Conference – pegged to be the longest conference since the league’s inception. For opposite spiker Kim Kianna Dy, boyfriend and international basketball star Dwight Ramos is the rock that keeps her an...

Perfume Time! - Dupe Time!

Image
My Favourite Cheap Versions And we're back with the rating and stuff! I woke up this morning facing the shelf where my perfume collection is placed and I realized aside from the BR540 dupes I have written about before, I have also gotten my hands on other perfumes that seems to be a dupe or shamelessly a dupe of expensive ones. In this post, I will be rating them based on my liking, and no one else's because this is my post. :D Kidding aside, I've wanted to do this since this morning and I would lose my mind if I don't write about it while I'm motivated. I don't exactly know how to do this but I'll do it anyway. First of, I'm no experienced fraghead or nose, but I consider myself quite an enthusiast but probably not too much, I just really like smelling good. Second, I love gourmand and don't judge me for it, because my sister does and I don't need any more imaginary hater; I am kinda starting to get inclined with niche perfumes as well since mos...

Perfume Time! - Story 1

Image
Sharing my perfume stories - one experience after another. So I have been planning on writing stuff about my perfume collection but I just couldn't come up with something. Until I got my latest PMS where I saw how I liked the smell of one perfume I blind-bought that I particularly did not like. It all starter with a fraghead friend influencing me to but perfumes because I needed a new hobby. Another friend then gave me suggestions on the scents he likes that he said I may like as well. Weird as it may sound but yes, because I am a newbie when it comes to fragrance, I decided to blind-buy some stuff which resulted to 1. liking some of them, 2. not liking some of them but keeping them, and 3. not liking them so gave them to my parents and my partner. So there's this one particular scent I did not like - Jo Malone's English Pear and Freesia. Not that I don't like it at all but it is one of my least used perfumes because the scent gives me headache. As a malfunctioning girl...
